Churches in Potterspury Parish

St Nicholas

Church Lane Potterspury Towcester
http://www.southcleley-benefice.org.uk

St Nicholas Church is a large stone mediaeval building with a late 13th early 14th Century tower. There has been a church on this site since at least 1087. That's all you really need to know about the bricks and mortar - it is however a lovely church with loos, disabled access and all manner of modern facilities.

What really makes our church not just lovely but very special, is the incredible presence that many people feel when they visit the church. We will not go on too much about it but urge you to visit us and experience it for yourself. We are open all day every day from around 8.30am - 6pm winter time and longer during the summer months.

We have a small very friendly and very welcoming congregation. We belong to the South Cleley Benefice along with Furtho, Yardley Gobion, Cosgrove and Wicken with whom we share our Rector, Revd Diane Whittaker

Quite recently we have held a vision / growth day and all sorts of ideas are taking shape as to how we would like to grow as a church and reach out to our community and spread the teachings of Jesus Christ.

If you would like to be a part of our mission please contact us. Any help, new ideas and thinking etc will be very welcome

See you soon ..
